Moody Air Force Base
 
Moody Air Force Base, home of the SAME Moody-Valdosta Post, is a military base in the Lowndes/Lanier counties, near Valdosta, GA and home to the legendary Flying Tigers of the 23rd Wing which includes the 347th Rescue Group.
 
Moody's new Child Development Center was completed in 2011. It is the first American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funded project completed in the Air Force and also LEED Gold certified.
